A portion of the purchase price will be donated in your name to the Niles Hiltunen Benefit Fund Inc.  This charitable organization was started by the Hiltunen family in nearby Florence, Wisconsin in honor of their son Niles, who died in May 2009.  Niles, who was autistic and had a seizure disorder, was an organ, bone and eye donor.  Dogs were important in Nile's short life.  They provided comfort, safety, companionship and helped him in social interactions.  The benefit fund provides monetary "random acts of kindness" donations to families still living with special needs.

Ole and Lena's puppies have generated $4200 for this charity.  Some of the contributions have helped towards the training of  service/therapy dogs for a veteran with PTSD, and a child with autism.  In addition, the charity has provided travel and motel expenses for people requiring outside health care including cancer patients and organ recipients.
